Perhaps you’d like to have a garden and grow your own food, BUT . . .
- you don’t have access to a suitable plot of land
- you don’t have tools
- you don’t have enough knowledge to do it yourself
- you want to do it in a community of others who share your values
Our Garden Collective may be right for you!
The Kamloops Food Policy Council has rented a number of plots in the McDonald Park Community Garden to create a collective for gardeners who want to learn share and grow with other like-minded people.
We will provide the gardening space, basic supplies and materials, four gardening workshops, and ongoing mentor-ship for the season.
Members will be expected to take part in decision-making, participate in workshops and work bees, and be enthusiastic about growing and sharing food!
