The Community Dietician at Interior Community Services helps increase food security through a number of platforms. The dietician is an important guide in food security programming, making sure the different skills and needs are being met. Having the expertise and knowledge of a professional dietician helps to ensure that ICS is taking the right steps and providing safe and knowledgeable information to all their clients. The dietician assesses the needs of population groups and communities, plans and delivers education programs, and develops nutrition education materials and tools.
