Gleaning Abundance 2017, GAP

Seasonal, Full Time for 8 weeks

July 2 – August 26, 2018, 30 hours/week at $15/hour

This position is open to a full-time university student who attended the 2017/18 school year and is returning to school full time in September for the 2018/19 year, and who will be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

The Gleaning Abundance Program (GAP) runs through the summer and fall, organizing volunteers to harvest fruit from local trees and distributing it to community organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, Family Tree Centre, and Salvation Army. The GAP Program Leader will work closely with the GAP Coordinator to complete the duties listed below. Work will be based out of the KFPC Office at Mount Paul Community Food Center (140 Laburnum St).
