Seasonal, Full Time for 8 weeks
July 9 – August 31, 2018, 30 hours/week at $15/hour
This position is open to a full-time university student who attended the 2017/18 school year and is returning to school full time in September for the 2018/19 year, and who will be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
The Gleaning Abundance Program (GAP) runs through the summer and fall, organizing volunteers to harvest fruit from local trees and distributing it to community organizations. This year, we will be dehydrating and freezing fruit for the Boys & Girls Club, as well as conducting Food Literacy workshops for B&G Club kids. The Social Enterprise Program Leader will work closely with the Social Enterprise Program coordinator and the GAP Coordinator to complete the duties listed below. Work will be based out of the KFPC Office at Mount Paul Community Food Center (140 Laburnum St).
