The Kamloops Food Policy Council is looking at starting up a food hub — a combination of facilities and services to help local food entrepreneurs start and grow their business. Food hubs support the local food industry by offering commercial kitchen space, cold storage, processing and distribution facilities, mentorship and business support, and helps them connect with each other, local growers and customers. We’re collecting information and data for our feasibility study, to see what type of food hub will work best in the Kamloops area.
