Connecting Schools, Local Food and Community
When Farm to School BC created three regional hubs in B.C. to grow the movement to bring healthy, local food, community connections and hand-on learning to schools, Kamloops was chosen, along with Vancouver and Victoria, thanks to the KFPC and the strong health promotion focus at School District 73.
The Kamloops Farm to School Animator works as part of the KFPC network to connect schools, community groups and local growers. [can a button link to contact form]
