Our next meeting is coming up on November 1, it will be a legendary potluck dinner as always! We are going to hear from special guests Glenn Hilke about My Place, and Joanne Juras about the Serve program coming to town next July. It will be a great meeting!
The KFPC is hiring!! We are looking for a vibrant communications and administration coordinator, to help us grow our public profile and let people know what we’re all about. An interest and involvement in local food systems and food security is an asset.
The contract runs from November 13, 2017-March 31, 2018, working out of the Mt Paul Food Centre or your home. Job posting closes on November 3 at 5pm.

October is Farm to School month, and we heard from Paul Denby (teacher at Arthur Hatton Elementary) and Vessy Mochikas (principal at Brock Middle School) about what they are doing through their Farm to School BC programs at each of their schools, it was very inspirational!
