FROM GARDEN TO TABLE
The Kamloops Community Gardens are fenced subdivisions of land dedicated to enabling people to discover the joy of growing their own garden. Plots are available for inexpensive rental to anyone who is willing to spend 2 – 3 hours a week tending to their plants. These plots are ideal for anyone who would like to grow their own nutritious foods at a low cost, meet like-minded people, exchange gardening tips and techniques with other gardeners, and spend time enjoying the outdoors and reaping the fruits of their own labour.
The Kamloops Community Gardens are in partnership with the City of Kamloops, Interior Community Services and the Garden to Table advisory group.
The Kamloops Community Gardens are located in:
- Downtown (Peterson Creek – 6th Ave & Columbia St.)
- Brocklehurst (Crestline St)
- North Shore (Mt. Paul United Church)
